Lauren Lappin Designs is a boutique interior design firm based in Chicago, IL that specializes in residential projects. 

Lauren’s love for architecture, art, and design, can be traced back to her teenage years. After taking various drawing, painting, photography, and fashion courses at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago and Parsons School of Design in New York, Lauren studied the history and theory of textiles at NYU where she received a Master of Arts. With a decade of experience in the fashion industry in entrepreneurial roles that included production, sales, and styling, Lauren parlayed her knowledge and skills into the world of interiors.  

Style, comfort, and functionality are the cornerstones of Lauren’s design philosophy. Her design process is always collaborative, as she believes that each home should be a unique reflection of her clients’ needs, tastes, and most importantly, their personalities. Lauren’s understanding of scale, line, shape, color, pattern, texture, and how these elements work together to create flow, balance, and character in a home is pivotal to all of her projects. 

When Lauren is not designing a space, you can find her traveling, reading, exploring beaches, and spending time with her family and friends.
